Safari 3.0.2

June 23, 2007

Apple has released an updated beta version of Safari 3. Just a few fixes and still no support for international users. Bearing in mind that Safari on Windows is more about the iPhone than anything else and the iPhone won’t be available internationaly for at least another three months, I wouldn’t expect it to be sorted out any time soon.

If you realy want to live on the edge head over to Surfin’ Safari where you can down load the latest nightly builds from the WebKit team. In addition to what’s available from the Apple download site the latest nightly build has

Support for Ctrl+Mousewheel to zoom.
Support for Shift+Mousewheel to scroll horizontally.
Support for tilt wheels.
Support for Backspace and Shift+Backspace to go back/forward.

Also expect it be equally as unstable as the ‘official’ beta.
